The German Sustainability Award for Sport is aimed at all players in sport and honours exemplary measures and products that promote sustainability in sport. With the best examples, the prize aims to promote the further development of the idea of sustainability in sport and to give good practice examples more visibility to the general public.

Der DNP Sport wird in drei Kategorien vergeben: In der Kategorie „Sportverbände und -vereine“ werden Projekte in Breiten-, Freizeit-, Leistungs- und Profisport ausgezeichnet. In der Kategorie „Sportveranstaltungen“ stehen Projekte zur Einsparung von Energie und Ressourcen, emissionsarme Mobilität, Abfallvermeidung, smarte Logistik sowie Sensibilisierung für nachhaltiges Handeln im Mittelpunkt. In der Kategorie „Sportprodukte“ können sich z.B. Sportausrüster, Vermarkter und Medienunternehmen bewerben.

All associations, associations, media, initiatives and companies have until 30 June to apply with their sustainable projects, events, products and measures. The winners will be announced on 29 November as part of the 17th German Sustainability Day. Our 1st chairman Stefan is a member of the jury, as was the case last year.
