The idea for a jersey exchange app originated in one of the youth teams of FC Iserlohn. Children and teenagers often outgrow their jerseys quickly. To ensure that these clothing items don't end up in the used clothing collection but can still be used by subsequent age groups, the idea for the "Football for Future" app was born – a kind of classifieds marketplace for sports clothing. Since people usually meet on the club grounds anyway (normally), the environmentally harmful shipping process is also eliminated. Additionally, to ensure that the team colors match, the app is always limited to one club.

"The idea makes sense both ecologically and socially and economically," says FC Iserlohn's 1st Chairman, Jens Breer.

Sometimes it can be that simple. The app is available for iOS and Android.
