On February 9, 2024, our 1st Chairman Stefan Wagner was a guest at the digital event "#Gamechangers: Sports for Social Inclusion in Rio's Communities", organized by our partner, the Jadir Taekwondo Association. The aim of this event was to initiate changes in sports and inspire progress. It was about raising awareness of the transformative power of sports in combating social inequalities and implementing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. For this reason, Stefan presented our initiative as well as the work and projects of Sports for Future.

At #Gamechangers, representatives of the UN Commission for Social Development and Delfim Mais Vida, a boxing academy in Rio de Janeiro, among others, also participated. The participants discussed the intersection of sports, climate protection, and sustainability and gained insights into sports projects that have a particularly positive impact on social inclusion. In recent years, projects and communities in Rio de Janeiro have made significant progress in this regard.
