Alongside other stakeholders, FC Arsenal has now joined a United Nations initiative aimed at encouraging the sports world to focus more on climate protection. "Members of the initiative are expected to advocate for the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement and work towards achieving climate neutrality by 2050." However, the club has been active in sustainability for quite some time. Since 1999, over 29,000 trees have been planted in the club's training center, there is a water recycling system, and since 2006, FC Arsenal has completely switched to green energy.
