On 8 October 2024, the Sport Positive Awards 2024 will be presented for the first time at the Kia Oval in London to draw attention to global organisations and individuals who are harnessing the power of sport to tackle the greatest challenges of our time – the climate and biodiversity crisis, and environmental and climate justice.
The awards are presented in the categories Transformation, Climate Impact Reduction, Social Initiative, Education and Training, Purpose-oriented Partnership, Biodiversity, Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing, Next Generation Trainblazer, Regional Leader, Campaign of the Year, Story of the Year, Report of the Year, Research Paper of the Year and Inspiring Innovation. From now on, projects, organisations and initiatives can be submitted for the Sport Positive Awards 2024. So far there have been more than 130 submissions.

All entries are evaluated by a jury of experts who select the winners. This jury also includes Sports for Future: Stefan will, as he did last year, select the winners of the awards together with other international experts from the field of sport and sustainability.
